A French film you probably haven't heard of – neither had we – but the film and the poster are achingly cool. Masculin Feminin is a 1966 French film by Jean-Luc Godard. The film is not one of his more celebrated. However, the film poster is one of a very small number of collaborations between Jean-Luc Godard and the German graphic designer Hans Hillmann. Hillmann died in 2015 and his retrospective at London’s Kemistry Gallery showcased his crisply surreal style. This is a beautiful poster that is very rare and set to become very collectible.
