A classic Hitchcock psychological thriller from 1958. This is another poster from the studio of Saul Bass who did much of the design work (and opening sequences) for Hitchcock, Kubrick and Scorsese. The film was the first to use in-camera effects to distort perspective to create disorientation (know known in the industry as the vertigo effect) and this is mimicked in the poster. This is a US half-sheet meaning that there is a slight fold across the centre but it is only evident under close scrutiny.
